Jubilee
It is Sunday morning, and we are watching Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee on television. It is quite a joyous occasion, isn't it? It looks dreary and cold, but it's a once in a lifetime experience for all!
glad you are enjoying it from so far away Myrna! you're right, it is rather over cast, but a very good atmosphere. The high street is closed in our town and tables all the way down so people could enjoy their picnic. The mayor made a speech, announced by the town cryer.
Hello Myrna I watched it on tv as well. We have dry weather up here but it was breezy and chilly. I have photographs on my blog that i took today from the tv of the flotilla Such a shame that it was wet. Aparently it was the almost the same weather for her coronation.

Ann, I remember her coronation..it looked dreary to me at the time because we didn't have color television!
